Digital, For these two artworks I wanted to improve how I draw bodies as I needed more practice on them. When I started these they were really loose figure drawings, but then I built on top of them more layers of line and then I removed all but the top layer of line to simplify the image. I then added a simple geometric shape behind the figures to contrast the flowing nature of the black and white figures.

Oil Pastel On Paper, I wanted to try using a medium i wasn't familiar with just so see what would happen. It was a tough thing to get the hang of but i found the key to success was not being afraid of making mistakes. Push the lights and darks, yes add more colors. One of the biggest problems for artists young and old is the fear of messing up. But I find the only way to improve is to build from those mistakes.
Acrylic, Copic, Watercolor, Prismacolor Marker, On Canvas, This painting was the one I had the most fun working on, It was a painting i worked on with my friend Madison back in early 2016 but neither of us were super happy. With her moving she said i could have it to paint over it, but i wasn't okay with that. Instead of destroying it, I enhanced it, like a Remastering so to say. I used all my artistic growth from the past year to transform it into something we are both very proud of.
